My Body
This book is designed to provide information about the human body for the primary child. Parts of the body are explained and illustrated. There are several ways that these explanations and illustrations can be used: Make a full-size tracing of each child's body on tag or other sturdy paper. Cut, paste, color, and follow directions to make the various parts of the body. Look at the "body legend" and place the body part correctly on the traced body. Copy the explanations of the functions of the body parts. Discuss the information with the students. Make the explanation sheets into a book and fasten with brads or yarn. Have each child take the booklet home along with his or her completed "life-size" body. Reproducible

Sticker Fun My Body
A stunning first book of the human body for the pre-school child. Young readers can relate closely to the action pictures of real-life children in familiar, everyday situations. The simple text identifies the different parts of our bodies and explains how they work. Children absorb the information as they have fun finding stickers, answering simple questions or copying the actions of their friends in the pictures. They are challenged to find a sticker bubble for Anna to blow, to look for the head of Fred the skeleton, and to match the right labels to parts of the body. Reusable stickers mean that children can repeat the play-and-learn process time and again.
