Why I Recommend Alpha Phonics

So you want to teach your child to read? I understand if you are apprehensive to start such a seemingly enormous task. Let me assure you it is not as difficult as you might think, especially if you have the right stuff. I highly recommend Alpha Phonics, it contains everything you need to meet your goal. 
I taught my six children, now ages ten to twenty, to read using this thorough phonics program. The lessons are short and simple, easy to emplement. After a few lessons, my children were able to read other simple readers. There are no pictures, which I found can be a distraction to children who are just beginning to read. Because of the solid phonics emphasis, my children also received a sound start in spelling. Alpha Phonics is not only an excellent reading program but very affordable. I was able to use the same book for all six of my children and today they are excellent readers.
